Interests

Multimedia and computer animation, although my passions are advertising, sport, music and film (big Superman fan).

Training

My degree involved developing advanced websites using e-commerce solutions via server-sided web scripting such as PHP and MySQL.

Advertising Projects

From early 2011 until mid 2014, I was responsible for supplying support, solutions and advice around the technical implementation and delivery of rich media adverts on the Yahoo network.

Below is a collection of custom campaigns I delivered during my time at Yahoo.

Programming Languages

All campaigns were created using a combination of Flash, HTML/5, CSS and Javascript.

API integration

Worked with third party vendors such as DoubleClick to produce formats for world class clients, complete with Facebook, YouTube and Twitter integrations.

QA and Reporting

With a company audience spanning from the USA all the way to Australia, the impact of this work was huge as millions of users traffic Yahoo every day.

Web Design

  • Sky Sports

Skysports.com had a handful of regular, scattered podcasts that covered a wide range of sports and different personalities. The problem was they were promoted individually instead of a consolidated podcast section.

  • Dessange Paris

This Flash prototype was presented to the managing director and played an important role regarding the final design in use at Dessange Cyprus today.

  • 2 weeks to make it

'2Weeks 2Make It' randomly pairs some of the UK's most promising film-makers with northern musicians, film production companies and unsigned bands. Their mission: design, shoot, edit and deliver a music video in just 2 weeks.
